I have wanted to do this for a few years now. We finally bought our house but now I am hesitant because I’m not sure how to design it so the bars don’t spin. Any tips or details on how you did this project. It looks awesome. You made them look like part of the design. Not tacky at all like most I have seen. 🙂
Thanks Tanya, There is a hole drilled in each bar with a screw keeping it from spinning.
I love this! What material did you use for the bars?
steel tube
I don’t speak English well, sorry. I write this with a translator.
I have put a monkey bars in my hallway, the bars are made of steel but thinner. Don’t your hands slip when you try to pass them? I don’t know if my mistake was to make them thinner and that’s why I slip

they need to be about 1.25″ diameter and pinned so they can not rotate
30 mm diameter
